Payments & Refunds
This page explains money movement on DaakDen: job credits, campaign escrow, creator payouts, invoices, and when funds may be reimbursed. Escrow is how we protect payment for both businesses and creators on every campaign - whether the campaign started from a job bid or a hire offer.
Payment protection for both sides
DaakDen holds campaign money in escrow. That is intentional protection for both roles - not a direct wallet-to-wallet transfer.
- Creators: you are notified to start only after the business payment is verified. You deliver against funds already held by DaakDen, then receive payout after approval (minus platform fees).
- Businesses: you pay DaakDen before work starts. Funds stay held until delivery is approved or auto-approved. If the creator misses the deadline with no deliverable, escrow can be reimbursed to you.
- Both: disputes can pause payout while we review. Paying outside DaakDen for a DaakDen job removes marketplace payment protection.
Two separate money flows
- Job credits - businesses buy credit packs to post open jobs and send direct hire offers (1 credit each).
- Campaign escrow - when a business selects a creator (from bids) or a creator accepts a hire offer, the business pays DaakDen the campaign amount. DaakDen holds funds and later pays the creator after approved delivery (minus platform fees).
Job credits
- Pack prices, credit counts, and validity periods are shown at purchase (for example Starter / Growth / Scale). Paid credits expire at the end of their pack's validity period. The one-time free welcome credit does not expire.
- Pay DaakDen, then submit your transaction ID for admin verification.
- 1 credit = 1 open job post. Closing or deleting an unused job may refund that credit to your balance when the product allows it.
- Rejected top-ups are not credited; you may be notified to correct and resubmit.
Escrow (campaign payment)
- After selecting a creator or after a hire offer is accepted, the campaign waits for payment. The creator is not notified to start until escrow is verified.
- The business pays DaakDen using the payment method and instructions in the Payment tab (for example bKash, Nagad, or bank), then submits TrxID.
- Admin verifies the inbound transfer. Until then, the campaign workspace stays focused on Payment.
- If proof is rejected, the business can resubmit after correction.
- Payment is due within the payment window (usually 48 hours). Once it passes, the payment is marked overdue; if it is still unpaid 24 hours later (or 24 hours after a rejected proof, whichever is later), the campaign is cancelled automatically and everyone involved is emailed. Proof already awaiting verification is never auto-cancelled.
- When payment is verified, DaakDen may email the business a business invoice PDF for the escrow settlement.
Creator payout
- Delivery approval (or auto-approval after the review window) completes the campaign but does not instantly transfer money to the creator.
- Payment moves to awaiting creator payout. DaakDen sends funds using the creator’s payout details, then admin confirms “Paid to creator.”
- Creator receives the agreed amount minus service fee and payout processing fee (as shown in fee logic / campaign estimates).
- When payout is confirmed, DaakDen may email the creator a creator invoice PDF summarizing gross earnings, fees, and net payout.
Invoices
Business and creator invoices are automated marketplace records. They reflect escrow amounts and fee deductions processed through DaakDen. They are not a tax invoice issued by the creator to the business (or vice versa) unless you separately arrange tax documentation outside these PDFs.
Reimbursements and refunds
- Missed delivery: if nothing is submitted within 48 hours after the delivery deadline, the campaign is cancelled, escrow is reimbursed to the business, and a warning is added to the creator account.
- Disputes: payout or reimbursement follows admin resolution.
- Job credit refunds (unused posts) return credits, not necessarily an immediate bank/mobile cash reversal of a pack purchase.
- Chargebacks or payment-provider disputes may result in account holds while we investigate.
Taxes and your accounts
You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings or business spend. Keep your pay-in and payout account details accurate; incorrect details can delay payouts.
No direct business↔creator payment
For work arranged on DaakDen, paying outside escrow voids marketplace payment protection for that engagement and may violate the Terms and Community Guidelines.
