Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to DaakDen. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Payments & Refunds policy, and Community Guidelines.

The service

DaakDen connects businesses with creators for promotional work (“Daak”). There are two hiring paths that share the same escrow cycle: (1) a business posts an open job and creators bid; (2) a business browses Find Creators and sends a hire offer the creator can accept or decline. All campaign money for selected work goes through DaakDen escrow so payment is protected for both sides: creators start only after verified payment, and businesses can be reimbursed if delivery is missed. Businesses must not pay creators directly for work arranged on DaakDen.

Accounts and roles

  • You must provide accurate information (including a valid phone number and email) and keep your login secure.
  • You may join as a business (hiring) or creator (finding work).
  • One person or organization should not abuse multiple accounts to evade bans, fees, strikes, or verification.
  • We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.

Verification

Social stats require admin review before verified follower counts or the Verified badge are shown. Submitting inflated or false stats is grounds for rejection and account action. We may email you when a submission is approved or rejected.

Jobs, hire offers, and bidding

  • Businesses need job credits to post open jobs and to send direct hire offers (1 credit each). A hire offer's credit is returned if the creator declines or does not respond before the offer expires; it is not returned if the business cancels the offer or declines a counter offer.
  • Jobs, hire offers, and briefs should be lawful, clear, and within the stated scope.
  • Creators bid with pitch, offer price, delivery days, and revision limits that fit the job deadline, or respond to hire offers with accept/decline.
  • Selecting a bidder or accepting a hire offer starts escrow: the business pays DaakDen and submits proof before the creator is cleared to start work.
  • If the business has not paid 24 hours after the payment deadline, the campaign is cancelled automatically, the creator is notified (and the job's other bidders, if hiring on the job had already closed and no other hire remains), the job, extra-hire, or hire offer credit is not returned, and a warning is added to the business account.
  • While a business has a DaakDen payment past its deadline, it cannot hire another creator, send new hire offers, or have pending hire offers accepted until that payment is made.
  • A business may hire more than one creator from a single job post. To do so, the business selects those creators together and confirms them in one step. The post covers the first hire; each additional hire from the same job uses 1 credit. Confirming a hire closes the job: it is removed from the job board and the remaining bids are declined. Jobs posted before multi-hire launched keep the single-hire flow, where hiring one bidder declines the rest.
  • If a job's application deadline passes and the business neither hires, closes, nor extends it within 7 days, DaakDen closes the job automatically and declines the remaining bids. When creators were left waiting on bids, this adds a warning to the business account.
  • Five warnings (from unpaid campaigns or abandoned jobs) restrict a business account (no new job posts, deadline extensions, closing or deleting jobs, selections, or hire offers; drafts can still be saved or deleted). The business can lift a payment restriction from its dashboard for 10 credits the first time and 20 credits the second time; after that, or for restrictions caused by off-platform chat, only DaakDen support can lift it. A paid unlock sets the warning count to 3.

Delivery, review, and completion

  • Creators deliver through the campaign workspace (files and live post links as required by the brief).
  • Businesses generally have 48 hours to approve or request a revision (within the agreed revision limit). No timely response may result in auto-approval.
  • A requested revision is due on the delivery deadline, or 3 days after the request if that is later. Once it is 48 hours overdue, the business may ask to cancel. The creator then has 72 hours to send the revision, accept the cancellation, or open a dispute. If the creator does nothing, the campaign is cancelled, escrow is reimbursed to the business, and a warning is added to the creator account. Accepting the cancellation adds no warning but counts as a cancellation.
  • Five warnings restrict a creator account: no new bids or hire offers, and the profile is hidden from Find Creators, while campaigns already in progress can be finished and paid. Open bids are withdrawn and open hire offers are closed with the business's credit returned. The first restriction lifts automatically after 30 days with warnings set to 3; after that, or for restrictions caused by off-platform chat, only DaakDen support can lift it.
  • One warning expires for every 90 days without a new warning, for creators and businesses. Warnings do not expire while an account is restricted.
  • Missing delivery without an accepted deliverable can cancel the campaign, flag the creator account, and trigger reimbursement to the business per the Payments policy.

Fees

Platform service fees and payout processing fees are deducted from the agreed bid or hire amount according to the fee schedule shown in product flows (tiered service fees, mobile send-money or bank processing fees, and first-work waivers where applicable). Job credit pack prices are shown at purchase time.

Invoices and records

When escrow payment is verified, DaakDen may email the business a business invoice PDF summarizing amounts paid into escrow. When admin confirms the creator has been paid, DaakDen may email the creator a creator invoice PDF summarizing earnings and fees. These documents are marketplace settlement records issued by DaakDen; they are not tax invoices from the other party unless separately agreed.

Messaging and off-platform contact

Campaign chat is for coordinating work on DaakDen. Before escrow is verified, sharing personal contact details or off-platform chat apps (including in English, Bangla, or mixed Banglish) may be blocked. After escrow is secured, phone numbers may be shared in chat for faster coordination, but payment and delivery must still stay on DaakDen. Other contact details and off-platform apps may still require confirmation, be hidden or redacted in chat, flagged for admin review, and count as moderation strikes. Asking to pay or work outside DaakDen escrow is always prohibited and may be blocked.

Repeated off-platform chat violations can warn or restrict your account. Off-platform payments for DaakDen jobs are not protected by marketplace escrow or these Terms.

Disputes

Either party may open a dispute for issues such as failed delivery, scope mismatch, deadlines, or payment problems. Work and payout may pause while an admin reviews. Admin decisions on platform process are final for DaakDen’s escrow handling, without limiting any rights you may have under applicable law.

Content and IP

You retain rights in content you create, subject to the campaign brief and any license you grant the business for promotional use. You must have rights to everything you upload or link. Do not post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

Disclaimers

DaakDen provides a marketplace and escrow workflow. We do not guarantee that a job will attract bids, that a hire offer will be accepted, that a selected creator will perform perfectly, or that a business will always behave fairly - though we provide tools (verification, review windows, disputes, chat moderation, and account actions) to manage risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DaakDen is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for amounts beyond fees we actually received for the contested transaction.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
